The GECO Hack Challenges aim at developing tailored solutions for the implementation of PES in the project regions by fostering
inter-regional collaboration and peer-to-peer learning.
The GECO Hack Challenges draw inspiration from the Design Sprint framework elaborated by Google Ventures and the Hackathon model. During the GECO Hacks challenges the participants form international teams and collaborate and compete to create unique solutions for the creation of PES schemes in a specific territory within an intense, tight timeframe of 24 hours. The best projects are selected by an international panel.
